He wants to remain credible and not advertise, although he keeps getting offers. And he will no longer profile himself on Instagram. Why?
In his own words, the acting star Lars Eidinger has sworn off social media.
“Above all, I deleted Instagram because it’s not good for me. I claim that it’s a toxic medium; you poison yourself there. In the long term it makes you sick,” said the 46-year-old from the “Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung”.
He has also received many offers to do advertising. But he rejects that too. “I didn’t do any of that,” he told NOZ. For him, an artist’s greatest trump card is credibility. “And I see them threatened in advertising.”
From August 31, Eidinger can be seen in the new feature film “The time we share” alongside Isabelle Huppert. In it, France’s acting icon looks after an author played by Eidinger as a publisher.
