Actor Ralf Bauer (55) worked as a yoga teacher on Saturday at Gut Basthorst (Duchy of Lauenburg district) near Hamburg. He and his four students rolled out their mats under a large oak tree in the morning. Bauer, who has been committed to Tibet for years and has lived with Buddhist monks, showed the participants several figures. Despite the rather cool and hazy weather, the actor apparently got so warm that he finally took off his black hoodie.
Bauer gave the yoga class as part of the “Happy Summer Weekend” event on the historic estate. Born in Karlsruhe, he became known in the 90s through the ARD surfer series “Against the Wind”. Last year he released his film “The Return – Sem Dhul”, in which he plays an escape helper who fights for the freedom of the Tibetans.
