After his fall on the stage on Friday evening, the injured Smudo (54) has now personally contacted his fans. He reveals via Instagram what happened in the accident and how he is doing now.
Operation went well
“There are worse places to jump through the patella tendon than at the end of the tour on stage. Thank you all for the touching wishes for a recovery,” Fanta 4 rapper Smudo wrote on Instagram on Sunday night
He also apologized for the postponement of the concert in Osnabrück planned for Saturday and explained his state of health: “OP this morning went 1a. Mood is good. 6 weeks on track”.
On Sunday, the 54-year-old was allowed to leave the Bonn hospital again, as he reveals in another: “Off home. Thank you community hospital Bonn for the hospitality, care and humor”. In the photo you can see Smudo with a crutch. He smiles – apparently in the best of moods – into the camera.
Numerous fans and friends wish the rapper of the Fantastischen Vier a speedy recovery under the two posts. “Get well soon, dear Smu,” writes a follower. Comedian Bully Herbig (54) posts two emojis of a buddy punch to encourage.
That’s how the injury happened
On Friday evening (August 26), the Fantastischen Vier gave a concert of their “30 years forever live” tour at the Hofgartenwiese in Bonn. During the encore, Smudo injured himself jumping. The concert had to be canceled and the performance in Osnabrück planned for the next day was postponed.
