The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power takes place thousands of years before The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. It will take viewers back to an era when great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, and the greatest villain to ever emerge from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover the entire world in darkness. The first two episodes will be available on September 2, after which a weekly episode will premiere.
