In the “Klingendes Oberösterreich” campaign, the Upper Austria. Volksliedwerk and the OÖN in spring 2021 for two months families who made music, recorded a video and sent it in – and thus showed that making music together was possible even in times of the pandemic. On Friday, the families in the Sumerauerhof in St. Florian had their first opportunity to get to know each other away from the digital world. At the family music festival, fine songs and stringed music pieces, flugelhorn tunes, violin, parlor, harmonica and dance music could be heard for an afternoon in the Sumerauerhof.
Sandra Ohms, Chairwoman of Upper Austria, was particularly happy. Volksliedwerks that two family music groups were only founded as a result of the campaign – and have been making music with great joy since then.
