Working day

The show that began in the mid-afternoon and lasted until the night had several emotional moments, especially when famous songs were performed that were considered the favorites of the drummer who died last March, at the age of 50, in Bogotá, Colombia.

This is how it happened when songs from David Bowie; when Grohl’s daughter Violet tackled compositions by Jeff Buckley or when Hawkins’ own 16-year-old son took the stage to perform “My Hero.”

“No one could make you smile, laugh, dance or sing like Taylor,” commented at the beginning of the concert the host, who closed the day with a celebrated version of “Everlong”, after thanking those present for “the love of Taylor” they professed.

The tribute could be followed live through the Paraumont+ platform and the MTV channel, and will have a new edition on the 27th of this month in Los Angeles, where a great parade of figures is also expected.
