One of the main attractions of the event is the Gastronomic Fair, which runs from October 7 to 10, in the Civic Center. With more than 100 culinary exhibitors of the most varied, the fair is positioned as an excellent alternative for tasting menus. From the emblematic Patagonian lamb (which has its own stand at “BALC Invita”), to the elaborate dinners that renowned master chefs throughout the country prepare in the Master Classes. Likewise, the Pop Ups become an ideal space for chefs to prepare, prepare and bake at the same time.
This year, cider has become a key point, having its own stand. “La Sidrería” offers visitors a first-class tasting, since the apples and pears used for the drink come from the Río Negro Valley. Likewise, there is also an offer of chocolates, cold cuts, sweets and dried fruits. Coming to the end of the week, the public chooses their favorite dish through a WebApp. The one that gets the most votes is consecrated as “Best BALC Plate 2022”. Bariloche a la Carta has everything for tourists and residents to enjoy a unique week, while strengthening the links between producers, chefs and Patagonian brands, being an emblem for the entire country.
On the other hand, the week is accompanied by important offers. On the one hand, those who have the #BALC card will obtain a 20% discount during the event, while members of Banco Patagonia do so with a 10% discount on credit and debit cards.
The hotel service also has promotions, ranging from 50% OFF to 4×3 packages. Some rates include lunch within the circuit, access to exclusive tastings and tickets to the BALC Fair. The accommodations in promotion can be consulted on the BALC website.
Although gastronomy occupies the central role during the month of October, Bariloche has a large number of activities and excursions to do. Known as the National Capital of Adventure Tourism, the city offers tourist tours, among which sailing through Lake Nahuel Huapi, connecting with nature at the Cascada de los Duendes, riding half-day horseback riding trails, visiting panoramic viewpoints, jump over the streams of the great hills that surround the city, among many others.
Bariloche a la Carta is organized by the Gastronomic Hotel Business Association of Bariloche with the support of Emprotur, the Province of Río Negro and the Municipality of San Carlos de Bariloche.
