Bob Odenkirk: Back on the Better Call Saul set after a heart attack

Bob Odenkirk suffered a heart attack while filming Better Call Saul in late July. Less than a month later, he’s back on set.

Bob Odenkirk (58) suffered a heart attack on the set of “Better Call Saul” in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the end of July and then announced a short break. On Wednesday (September 8th) the US actor reported back from the set of the “Breaking Bad” spin-off – with a snapshot from the mask.

Bob Odenkirk is “happy to be here”

“Back to work on Better Call Saul!” Wrote the 58-year-old. He is “so happy to be here and to live exactly this life, surrounded by such good people” – which means, among other things, make-up artist Cheri Montesanto, who Odenkirk is doing in the shared photo. The “make-up pro” doesn’t make him “ugly for the shoot,” jokes the star in his post.

Odenkirk had reported back to the short message service just over a week after his collapse with a health update. “I’m doing great,” the actor told his fans. He also explained that he had received an infinite number of touching recovery wishes. “I had my very own ‘isn’t life beautiful?’ Week where people insisted I make the world a little bit better. Wow!”

The final “Better Call Saul” season is scheduled to start in 2022

The sixth and final season of “Better Call Saul” was originally supposed to start this year. However, because production has been delayed due to the corona pandemic, the new episodes are not expected to be seen until 2022.
