Now the Swedish Oscar winner is making it official anyway – and indirectly confirms in an interview with the US magazine “People” that she and husband Michael Fassbender (44, “Alien: Covenant”) have secretly become parents.

“I now have a completely new understanding of life as such,” says the 32-year-old, reflecting on her new role as a mother. “That’s pretty nice and obviously it will add a lot to any of my future work.” The “Tomb Raider” actress doesn’t want to reveal much more. When asked how her life has changed since she was born, she says, in a nutshell: “I’m enjoying finding that out right now.”
Vikander and the Irish-German Fassbender met and fell in love in 2014 on the set of the on-screen romance “The Light Between Oceans” (2016). In October 2017, the couple, who keep their private life strictly out of the public eye, said yes on the Spanish Balearic island of Ibiza.
