Tokyo Hotel frontman Bill Kaulitz (33) was diagnosed with a precursor to black skin cancer. The 33-year-old has now announced this on Instagram. the singer – who celebrated his 33rd birthday on September 1 alongside his twin brother Tom – shared a powerful message: “Unfortunately, not all good news on my 33rd birthday! It happened too. My biopsy came back.”

He also published a black and white photo showing him in a surgical shirt on the examination table. The result was “severely atypical, pre-melanoma, pre-cancer”. Black skin cancer is the most dangerous form of skin cancer.
But Kaulitz also gives the all-clear in his story: “After my small operation today and the removal of all cells, everything should be fine.” Thanks to his check-up, the preliminary stage was discovered early. He will continue to be checked regularly.
