Congratulations to Nicolas Cage and his wife: they are now parents to a little girl with a special name. That’s behind it.
Hollywood star Nicolas Cage (58) and his wife Riko Shibata (27) have become parents of a daughter. August Francesca Coppola Cage was born in Los Angeles on Wednesday, a spokesman for the couple told People magazine. “Mother and daughter are doing well.”
Cage, who already has two sons from previous relationships, spoke on the “Kelly Clarkson Show” in April about his intention to name his child after his father, August Coppola, among others. “I’m so happy, this will be the greatest adventure of my life,” he said.
Cage and Shibata announced in January that they are expecting a child. The Oscar winner and the artist married in Las Vegas in February 2021.
