Good news and pictures from the European nobility arrive from Belgium at the weekend. Princess Maria Laura of Belgium has married her fiancé, William Isvy, a Franco-British businessman. She wore an eggshell-colored mini dress to the civil wedding in Brussels City Hall.
The bridal couple celebrated twice on Saturday: civil in the morning and church in the afternoon. At the church wedding in the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula, the bride dressed much more opulently: with a veil, diadem and long train. Flower girls and page boys were also present. A dream wedding in white.
Maria Laura is the daughter of Princess Astrid, sister of King Philippe of Belgium. Several generations of the royal family attended the wedding. The weather wasn’t ideal – but that didn’t seem to spoil the good mood.
