“Skins” star Kathryn Prescott has narrowly escaped death. The actress was hit by a cement truck in New York.
“Skins” actress Kathryn Prescott (30) is in hospital with serious injuries. The actress was struck by a cement truck while crossing the street in New York City on Tuesday, September 7. This was shared by her twin sister Megan, who was seen together with her sister in the British TV series from 2007 to 2013. “I received the worst phone call of my life on Tuesday night,” Prescott said on the social media platform. “After a complicated operation, Kathryn is still struggling with the following injuries: a double broken pelvis, two broken legs, a broken foot and a broken hand.” Her sister is “incredibly lucky to be alive” and the doctors are hopeful that she will make a full recovery.
Kathryn Prescott is “alone” and “without a family”
Megan Prescott now wants to try to enter the United States to stand by her sister. “She is alone in New York with no family members,” is how she describes her sister’s situation. “I’ll have to help her until she can walk again. I’ll have to help her with everything.” Kathryn Prescott will have to go into rehab “for a very long time” and need 24-hour care after she is allowed to leave the hospital.
But the corona pandemic is making Megan Prescott’s plans a spanner in the works, as she continues. “I applied to the US embassy for an exemption from the current restrictions banning non-US citizens from entering, and today my application was denied. I am devastated.” Prescott added that she was double-vaccinated, PCR-tested and could take off immediately. “I would do anything to get to her as soon as possible.”
“I don’t know what to do with myself,” writes Megan Prescott. “I have to fly to my sister and help her and there is no way I can do this now.” She now asks her followers for help: “If anyone can help, please, please get in touch. I have to fly to my sister and take care of her.”
