Actor and “Tatort” star Fahri Yardim vehemently dispels the rumor of being a casual guy in an interview.
Whether as the hardened inspector Yalcin Gümer in Hamburg’s “Tatort” or as a rough version of himself in the series “jerks.”: In his roles, Fahri Yardim (41) seems to have leased casualness for himself. However, this picture of him has little in common with reality, as the star has now revealed. In reality he is “the most indolent guy in the world,” says Fahri Yardim in the current “Playboy” October issue.
“That’s the bad thing,” says Yardim: “That I chose roles like this and always aimed for this casual connotation. […] It is downright grotesque that the guys I play are such relaxed fatalists who get along well with the world and laugh at everything nicely, Udo-Lindenberg-esque. A pure wishful fantasy, I’m not like that. “
Knowledge in nature
Since September 9th there is a new nature documentary “SaFahri – A Journey to the Elements” on Sky Nature Yardim’s. In contrast to his roles, the format reveals a lot about his true character – almost too much, as the star self-critically notes in “Playboy”. “When I looked at it myself afterwards, I had the feeling that I wasn’t the brightest candle on the cake. Unfortunately, it reveals a little too much about me.”
But he is now “not a Hannes Jaenicke, who is already filled with information material and therefore fits in wonderfully.” And so, while shooting “SaFahri – A Journey to the Elements”, he not only learned a lot about nature, but also about the “big city monkey” Fahri Yardim.
