R. Kelly has been convicted in another trial. This time he was charged with child pornography, among other things.
Another verdict against R. Kelly (55): The former R&B star was found guilty on six out of 13 charges in a trial in Chicago. This was unanimously reported by several US media. Accordingly, he was found guilty of making child pornography and having sex with a minor. However, he was acquitted of the charge of obstructing justice. Two of Kelly’s employees who were also charged were acquitted of all charges.
R. Kelly was found guilty in an abuse trial back in September 2021. In June of this year, the sentence was announced: the ex-R&B star must be behind bars for 30 years. With the renewed conviction, a few more years could now be added. Two other trials are pending, one in Minnesota and one in Chicago.
