In the call, 24 winning projects will be selected -one per province-, and six alternate projects -one for each region of the country-. The award will consist of 100% of the budget presented, with a cap of 4.5 million pesos per project.
The stories must be 14 minutes long and the choice of theme is free.
Lucrecia Martel, Vanessa Ragone, Bruno Stagnaro, Daniel Burman, Adrián Caetano, Santiago Loza and Andrés Muschietti they were part of the directors who in their beginnings participated in what was later considered the “seedbed of Argentine cinema”.
The compilation of the short films selected in each edition of the contest results in “Short stories”, produced by the INCAA and displayed in the Mar del Plata International Film Festivalin the Bafici and in the Gaumont Complex.
The call will be open until January 2, 2023 and registration is through the platform INCAA online.
