Andrea Berg mourns her discoverer. The pop singer announced on Instagram that Eugen Römer has died.
Andrea Berg (55) mourns her longtime companion Eugen Römer. The music producer died after a “serious illness”. “My thoughts are with his family, relatives and friends,” wrote Berg about his video, which shows pictures of the singer with her discoverer.
“Eugene will never fall silent”
“Eugen will never fall silent. All of his wonderful melodies, his passion for music, his creativity, depth of soul and love make him immortal,” continues Andrea Berg. He wrote almost 150 songs for her, including big hits like “Kilimanjaro”, “You lied to me a thousand times” or “Tango Amore”.
Andrea Berg wrote a song with Eugen Römer in the spring, she recalls. And just a week ago she played him her ballad version of “The feelings have confidentiality”. “I know Eugen wants us to celebrate life and fill it with love,” continues Berg. Therefore she wanted to honor him on Saturday evening in the “Giovanni Zarrella Show” (September 11th, 8:15 pm, ZDF) with a hit medley.
Eugen Römer was 77 years old.
