Canadian-American actress Sarah Chalke (46) and her fiancé, lawyer Jamie Afifi, are going their separate ways. The couple broke up “some time ago,” a rep for the former Scrubs actress confirmed.
The two want to continue to fulfill their role as parents and remain “good friends”. The couple became engaged in 2006 but have never married in subsequent years. The two have two children together, son Charlie (12) and daughter Frances (6).
Known series face
Chalke first came to prominence in the 1990s with her role as Becky Connor on the sitcom Roseanne. In 2001 she slipped into the role of Elliot Reid in the television series Scrubs, which she held until 2010. Further appearances in series such as “How I Met Your Mother”, “Cougar Town”, “Speechless” or “Friends from College” followed. In the “Roseanne” follow-up series “The Conners” (since 2018) she did not take on the role of Becky, but a supporting part.
