Günther Jauch always gives everything for “Because they don’t know what’s going to happen”. But in the most recent broadcast, he slipped and fell.
In his moderator Günther Jauch (65) always gives everything. But in the show on Saturday evening (September 11th) he probably went too far: Jauch slipped during a game and fell to the ground.
“Fall on his tailbone”
In the show, Jauch competed in a team with Barbara Schöneberger (47) and Thomas Gottschalk (71) against eight prominent professionals. The “Ballathlon” challenge was about shooting water balls with syringes from a table – the studio floor was correspondingly slippery. The participants also had to wear flippers on their feet during the game. That was exactly what was fatal for Günther Jauch:
In a curve he slipped and fell to the ground. Barbara Schöneberger could then say a loud “shit!” don’t hold back. Fortunately, according to the broadcaster, the presenter was largely uninjured when he “fell on his tailbone” and was able to jump right back into the next game.
