London’s newest landmark is “The Queue” – although the queue at Westminster Hall is only temporary. The seemingly endless number of people waiting now also attracted royal visitors.

The waiting time in the record-breaking “queue” in London is currently 14 hours. Anyone who wants to see Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin live one last time has to wait more than half a day. The queue in the British capital is apparently becoming a sight in itself – because after a visit to the rescue workers, King Charles III. and Prince William to pay a visit to the patient crowd, as reported by “”.

Brief disruption during the process

Of course, the otherwise relatively smooth process was disrupted as people turned their attention to the royals and tried to get a good look at the celebrity visitors – or even shake their hands.

Monday morning the “queue” ends

People still have a chance to see Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin at Westminster Hall until 6.30am local time Monday morning. Then the so-called “Lying In State” ends and the official funeral gradually starts.

Until then, the capital is still expecting hundreds of thousands of visitors, and the funeral on Monday could be one of the biggest TV events since records began. Many television stations, including RTL, start broadcasting at 9 a.m. and follow the events in Great Britain into the evening.
