Cabaret artist Michael Mittermeier (56) thinks vegan white sausages are progressive. “It’s good that the diet is changing. Whether it’s the vegan white sausage or a vegan “meat” patty, it’s a gain,” he told the German Press Agency on Sunday at the “Almauftrieb” of celebrities in the Käfer marquee on the Oktoberfest.
“It’s all in the mix. I’m a meat eater, I won’t be able to stop it, but I’m more aware of it too. That’s a first step.” Such debates should not be dogged. Discussions in black and white made no sense. “It’s good when things change.”
