Oktoberfest 2022: Numerous celebrities came to the Almauftrieb in the Käfer tent

After two years of the corona pandemic, there is understandably a lot of catching up to do and many people are in a party mood. The start of the Oktoberfest 2022 can therefore be described as a success: From the early hours of the morning, visitors stormed the site on Saturday, and the tents were packed for the long-awaited “O’zapft is”. The Oktoberfest also plays a major role for celebrities – and almost everything revolves around the Käfer tent – and the invitation to the “Almauftrieb”.

However, this does not mean the literal Almauftrieb, which actually describes the bringing of grazing cattle to the Alm. The “Almauftrieb” in the Käfer tent is probably the most exclusive party that the Oktoberfest has to offer.

998 celebrities were invited

This year Wiesn host Michael Käfer is said to have invited 998 people from film, television and sports, reports the “”. There were sometimes long delays in admission, which many photographers certainly used to take a few snapshots.

The tumult in the tent was obviously correspondingly large. According to the “Süddeutsche Zeitung”, Burda board member Philipp Welte even got a snack board in his head because he didn’t pay attention to the hustle and bustle of the waiters.

Everyone was there: Kay One, Mittermeier, Kamps

The list of names is the purest who’s who of the German media, sports and industrial landscape. Maria Höfl-Riesch, Manuel Neuer, Kay One, Oliver Pocher, Giulia Siegel, HP Baxxter and Michael Mittermeier are just a few of them, less recognized but no less relevant were names like Kamps, Olsson and Weindorfer among the guests.

But not every guest was apparently as well-known and famous as one might have assumed: The “” reports that an employee of the Käfer tent asked the moderator Verena Kerth if she was from the press. Ms. Kerth is said to have responded with a snide comment and probably said that the staff was getting worse and worse. Maybe something common – not everyone watches programs like “Die Superhändler” and remembers all the faces.
