Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has taken to Instagram to deny rumors of an alleged affair. “I haven’t had an affair, yet I crossed a line at an unfortunate time in my life,” the 43-year-old wrote on Tuesday. “In certain cases it became inappropriate,” he explained.
“It was a mistake to speak in a flirtatious tone to anyone other than my wife.” With his Instagram post, Levine responded to a Tiktok video in which a woman claimed to have had an affair with him.
Levine: ‘Biggest mistake I could ever make’
Levine said he’s currently trying to work things out with his wife, Behati Prinsloo. “My wife and family are all I care about in this world. Being naïve and stupid enough to jeopardize the only thing that really matters in my life was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made could ever do.”
The singer and model have been married for eight years and are expecting their third child together.
