The artist himself said that the idea was born in 1969, on a quiet afternoon in Mar del Plata, when a boy looked at him attentively and Balá, pretending not to see him, asked several times out loud: “The sea! What will it taste like?” the sea?”.

The boy remained silent and he continued: “Ahhh, the sea tastes like salt. But what does salt taste like?” And before running away, the boy replied: “But, what taste is salt going to have! Salty!”.

And so a success was born that spanned four generations.
