September 25 is a special date for Michael Douglas (78) and Catherine Zeta-Jones (53): Both have their birthdays on the day. “After 24 years of celebrating our special day together, I still look forward to it,” Catherine Zeta-Jones wrote on Instagram. To this she addresses an “I love you!!!”
This is followed by Michael Douglas on his Instagram channel. On , he comments with a red heart and the words, “Happy birthday Catherine! I love you always and forever.”
His wife responds to the declaration of love: “Happy birthday, my darling. I’m so happy to share this day with you. Love you.”

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones met and fell in love at the 1998 Deauville Film Festival in France. The two wed on November 18, 2000 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Five months earlier, Douglas and his ex-wife Diandra Luker (66) divorced. Zeta-Jones and Douglas have a son and a daughter together. Douglas also has another son from his first marriage, the actor Cameron Douglas (43).
