It may not warm you up, but it is always stylish: the suit waistcoat is one of the fashion must-haves in autumn this year.
In autumn, too, it should not be missing in the wardrobes of die-hard fashionistas: the suit waistcoat. The sleeveless it-piece found its way into numerous boutiques in the summer and was usually simply combined with wide Marlene trousers.
Model Gigi Hadid (27) presented hers in a white crop version that looked both elegant and sexy. That model in long during a visit to Formula 1. In autumn, however, the suit waistcoat should by no means be banished to the cellar.
Combine with turtleneck and knitwear
Instead, it can be styled with warm clothing – such as a long-sleeved shirt or a thin turtleneck shirt and tight or loose jeans. Thanks to the elegant suit style, the waistcoat enhances any casual everyday look in no time at all and is therefore ideal for the office. On particularly cool days, however, a knitted jumper or dress also looks good under the vest. The cut can be both short and long.
Elegant three-piece suit
Of course, the suit vest is really chic as a three-piece suit, i.e. with matching suit trousers and jacket. A pair of loafers or high sandals complete the ensemble, as does “taff” presenter Viviane Geppert (31).
