The opening function will be on Sunday, October 2 at 4:00 p.m. at the Kirchner Cultural Center, at Sarmiento 151, with the national short film competition; and then, at 6:00 p.m., “La Calma” by Mariano Cócolo will be screened, a film that will be part of the national feature film competition.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Art Center, at San Martín 797, in Avellaneda, there will be a talk on documentary film with Néstor Frenkel, among other activities.
The Official Selection is made up of national feature films: “La Calma”, by Mariano Cócolo; “Seven dogs”, by Rodrigo Guerrero; “Husek”, by Daniela Seggiaro; “Danubio”, by Agustina Pérez Rial; “This is how my Peru dances”, by Ezequiel Yoffe; and “Operación Chocolate”, by Silvia Maturana and Carlos Castro.
Also included are the national short films: “Pabellón”, by Lucía Levis Bilsky; “There is coca”, by José Issa; “The Pleasure”, by Fermín de la Serna; “It’s not a game”, by Lucas Olivares; “Other that was not me”, by Anahí Molina; “Fire in the sea”, by Sebastián Zanzottera; and “La Mutuante”, by Carla Scolari and Javier Rossanigo.
“Mireyita”, by Orangel Lugo; “Garfield Coquillage”, by Paul Marques Duarte; “Yaba”, by Rodrigo Sena; Iham Bakir’s “Voices and Locks”; and “Between you and Miracles”, by Mariana Saffon; make up the list of international short films.
Lastly, the IDAC Retrospective will be held, with the titles “Under the surface”, by Pablo Spatola; “Emma”, by Fernando Guerrero; and “Elevation”, by Facundo Hidalgo.
