Composed of six 30-minute episodes, “World Robbery” follows the story of Lucho Buenaventura (Furriel), who after investing all his savings to travel with his son to the World Cup, sees how the Argentine Soccer Team is disqualified due to a sanction in the qualifying stage. With nothing left to lose, he gathers his co-workers, a particular group on the verge of losing their jobs, to take justice into their own hands. The plan? Steal the World Cup on his promotional tour of Argentina, to try to rejoin the World Cup and thus save the illusion of his son and the honor of a country.
The cast of the new comedy is completed with Hugo Piccinini (“Welkom”), Diego De Paula (“Alternative Therapy”, an original series available on Star+), Hugo Quiril (“Strong Fight”), David Szechtman (“Hortensia”), Agustina Tremari, Juan Isola (“Embarcados a Europa”) and Matías Luque Benante.
