Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi are six brand-new animated shorts about Jedi-related parables from the prequel trilogy era. There, the lives of two very different Jedis, Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku, will be presented, where each of them will be put to the test and both will make decisions that will define their destiny. The series was created by executive producer Dave Filoni, with Carrie Beck and Athena Portillo serving as executive producers. Premiere October 26.
Mr Gardel
Mr. Gardel arises from an anecdote that has been circulating for several years on the Internet and recounts a supposed meeting between Carlos Gardel and Frank Sinatra. According to that story, in 1934 Gardel was performing on NBC in New York when he was introduced to a young admirer, none other than Frank Sinatra at the age of 19, eager to meet the “great River Plate baritone”.
No one knows very well what happened in that meeting, but it served as the starting point for a very attractive idea: the night Gardel and Sinatra were locked in a dressing room.
The story is armed with fragments of reality and is a vehicle for two of the greatest singers in America to go through common themes for both: women, friends, the neighborhood and passions. Premiere October 14.
CNCO: last 5 days
In May 2021 Joel Pimentel announced his departure from the Latin pop and reggaeton musical group formed in 2015, CNCO. The documentary shows the group’s last five days of rehearsal before its final concert, the beginning of a new stage. Today, CNCO is made up of Christopher Vélez, Richard Camacho, Zabdiel de Jesús and Erick Brian Colón. Premiere October 21.
