The second edition of the Unconventional Festival will take place in several Buenos Aires spaces

“Experimentum Mundi”, a musical theater play by Giorgio Battistelli, which will be presented on the 20th and 21st at 8:30 pm in the Casacuberta Hall of the San Martín Theater; and “Timber”, a minimalist percussion piece by Michael Gordon performed by the group Tambor Fantasma, which can be seen on the 22nd at 6 pm at the Fundación Santander, are some of the proposals for this edition.

As well as “Welt Parlament (World Parliament)”, by the German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen, an experimental opera for a cappella choir, which will take place on November 6 and 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the session room of the Buenos Aires Legislature Palace.

The show features the participation of Pablo Feijoo as narrator and the choir surrounding the audience, under the musical direction of Pablo Pichini and the general direction of Martín Bauer.

Finally, on November 12 and 13, at 6:30 p.m., the festival will close with “Seventy Balconies”, a site-specific outdoor theatrical performance, created by director Lisandro Rodríguez, which will include the participation of Renata Schussheim, Toto Castiñeiras and Matías Sendón, whose development will be on the balconies of a building under construction located in downtown Buenos Aires.
