Singer Pietro Lombardi has reported back in public after a break of almost three months. He posted a 26-minute video on his Instagram account in which he talks about the ups and downs in his life. The 29-year-old is sitting in a white chair in front of a brick wall, with dramatic music playing in the background.
After eleven years in the spotlight, Lombardi said he urgently needed a break. “I was completely empty and had to find myself again. In the evening in bed I cried and didn’t even know why. There was a feeling of sadness in me that I had never felt before.” It was only when his son Alessio was with him that he was fine. He recently lost himself and tried to attract attention with expensive watches and fat cars – even among women. “I’m a little mad at myself for becoming a show-off,” says Lombardi.
He looks back on his DSDS victory in 2011 with mixed feelings.
