Of the 2.4 million self-tests that were carried out in the week from Friday to Thursday, this time there were 240 “hits”, including 174 students and 66 teachers. This time, a total of 0.01 percent of the tests were positive, compared to 0.009 percent the previous week. As in the previous week, no school is currently closed.
The most positive test results were in Vienna with 108 (previous week: 82), followed by Upper Austria with 42 (previous week: 37), Lower Austria with 25 (previous week: 35), Styria with 24 (previous week: 22), Salzburg with 14 (previous week: 35) : 15), Tyrol with 8 (previous week: 15), Carinthia with 7 (previous week: 4), Burgenland with 7 (previous week: 1) and Vorarlberg with 5 (previous week: 4).
The number of positive self-tests does not correspond to the official Corona numbers. To be included in the latter, the results must first be confirmed by more meaningful PCR tests.
