“What an incredible crowd!”: Guns N’ Roses surrendered to Argentine fans

However, despite their fleeting visit to Buenos Aires, once again the fervor of the Argentine public was burned into the artists who, beyond their years of experience, continue to be surprised by the “agitate” of local rockers.

Praise

This Monday, the group shared on their social networks a video of the concert in Argentina where a large pogo is seen in the middle of their success “Welcome to the jungle”, the first song from their debut album, “Appetite for Destruction”.

“Buenos Aires, what a F’N’ amazing crowd! Thank you!” Californians commented on their social media accounts, along with the recording that was taken from behind the stage.

The posting had more than 12,000 “likes” on Twitter and more than 1,430 retweets, in addition to hundreds of comments asking for the return of Guns N’ Roses to the country.

Anniversary

This Friday, the group wrote a new golden page in its relationship with Argentina, by offering a show with a lot of attitude, a great job and uncompromising rock, which coincided with the 30th anniversary of its first landing in the Federal Capital.

Already converted into a classic, the band showed off an enviable dedication and, against the grain of the times, dispatched with an extensive show of blood traction, in which guitar solos, wah-wah sounds abounded , and the solid rhythmic bases.

In that context, Axl Rose’s stage presence and guitarist Slash’s perfect musical state drew all eyes; while the forceful repertoire added the missing ingredient to make it the night dreamed of by fans, but also by any rock lover.

It took five years since their last presentation in Argentina and just over two since their frustrated participation in Lollapalooza Argentina 2020 suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, for the Californian group to return to refresh the memory of how exciting their music can be and their shows.

In that sense, there were 29 songs with just a few ballads to take a breath, although of course always with strident guitars and monolithic bases putting the seal of the group.
