For some time now, Argentine horror films have been released weekly, some drinkable, others not and others to delight fans. But it rarely happens that a film of the genre attracts the general public, regardless of the theme. This is the case of the excellent “El desarmadero”. Luciano Cáceres, is a performance that carries out the film almost alone, he plays a plastic artist who after suffering the death of his wife and his daughter in an accident, is shocked and ends up in a psychiatric hospital. Over time he is discharged, but he no longer paints, and besides, he has lost everything, so a friend gives him a job in a junkyard where old cars that have healthy parts with resale value end up. In this strange and slightly apocalyptic setting, with a powerful flashlight to watch for thieves and a gun to shoot them, the protagonist begins to lose track between his delusions and reality. Especially when among the crashed cars he recognizes the one his wife was driving.
