Actress Simone Thomalla (56) was in a celebratory mood a few days after her separation from handball player Silvio Heinevetter (36) became known. “I’m wonderful,” said Thomalla on Friday evening on the sidelines of the “Goldene Henne” TV gala in her hometown of Leipzig. She is looking forward to “meeting colleagues again and celebrating and not being at home alone” that evening.
On Tuesday, Thomalla and Heinevetter announced in a statement that they had separated after twelve years. This was done by mutual agreement a few months ago. They wanted to stay connected as friends.
Thomalla comes from Leipzig, but has lived in Berlin for years. National goalkeeper Heinevetter currently plays for the Bundesliga handball team MT Melsungen in Northern Hesse.
