A statement indicates that the province had a calendar full of events and festivities in its internal destinations, which resulted in a large turnout of tourists, many of whom arrived without prior reservation and had to be referred to nearby places.
The average length of stay was three days, and the daily cost per person was $12,000, including lodging, meals, excursions and extras.
Among the most popular proposals were the beer, gastronomic and cultural festival Oktoberfest, in Villa General Belgrano; the Happy Birra (also beer) in Alta Gracia, and the Bum Bum festival of “La Mona” Jiménez, in Jesús María, with numerous artists.
The president of the ACT, Esteban Avilés, said that “this weekend we registered full occupation in many of the provincial towns, surpassing the same pre-pandemic weekend”.
“This marks the work and effort that each destination makes to receive tourists, with activities, events and level services. This is very important for the regional economies of all of Córdoba,” said the official.
