Austrian Art Prize for “Toxic Dreams”

In the field of performing arts, the “Toxic Dreams” collective, which has been working since 1997 and was founded by Kornelia Kilga and Yosi Wanunu, has won art prizes: members include Susanne Gschwendtner, who was born in Vöcklabruck, Anna Mendelssohn from Vienna, Michael Strohmann (band Fuckhead) from Linz and Markus Zett from Freistadt.

“The award of the art prize is more than the recognition of outstanding individual achievements, the prize represents the diversity and excellence of contemporary domestic art,” says Secretary of State for Culture Andrea Mayer (Greens).
