The ninth edition of Asterisk, the international LGBTIQ+ film festival, is held

The programming will include an Argentine Feature Film Competition, which includes the films “BJ: The Life and Times of Bosco and Jojo”, by Sergio Bonacci Lapalma; “Copacabana Papers”, by Fernando Portabales; “We should imagine everything in terms of sand”, by Roxana Bernaule; “The Attachment”, by Javier Diment; and “El fulgor”, by Martín Farina.

As well as “That weekend”, by Mara Pescio; “The agitators”, by Marco Berger; “I’m looking for myself far away”, by Diego Lublinsky; and “Yo soy Alma”, by Mariana Manuela Bellone, complete the list.

On the other hand, the Argentine Short Film Competition will also take place, with the titles “Creature”, by Maria Silvia Esteve; “Desvelo”, by Ana Waisbein and Maite Valero; “The wall of the constellations”, by Olivia Nuss; “The Nature of Love”, by Nicolás Raúl Álvarez and Joaquín Ostrovsky; “The Lovers”, by Dario Exequiel; and “My name is Marian”, by Pilar Cabrera.

In addition to “My body, my transition”, by Camilo López Díaz, Julian Merlo and Alma Chamot; “I am born a problem”, by Violeta Fontaiña; “Sacrifice”, by Guido Depaoli; “All trans types”, by Sabino Jerónimo Gazzaniga; “Transiting the abyss”, by César González; “A house that has no roof”, by Celeste Onaindia; and “Yon”, by Bárbara Lago.

There will also be a section out of competition for Latin American Short Films, another for Argentine Short Films, one called Erotismo Amarillista, Foco Canada, Retro Enzo Monzón, and Queer Pioneers.

The Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK), the Conti Cultural Center, Hasta Trilce, the Universidad del Cine, the Recoleta Cultural Center (CCR) and Puticlú, are the spaces where the screenings of the films will take place.

For its part, a selection of films participating in this edition can be seen on the Cont.ar platform, and the Competitive Films in Process section will take place entirely on the Cultural Industries Market (MICA) platform.
