The International Teen Theater Festival begins

The performances of this thirteenth edition of the Festival will be held with free admission at the San Martín Cultural Center, and those for tomorrow and Friday will be held in the morning for students from different schools to attend.

During the Festival there will be two exchange panels where the adolescent artists will share their experiences in the process of creating the show, their link with the theater in particular and the development that the activity has in their place of belonging.

At the end of these panels, a plenary session will be held in which a manifesto will be drawn up that brings together the ideas shared during the process.

In addition, within the framework of the festival, ten free workshops will be held with leading teachers in the theater field for adolescents between 13 and 19 years of age, which will take place at the Municipal School of Dramatic Art (EMAD) and will be led by Ana Woolf, Martín Salazar, Leila Schmukler, Leo Rodríguez, Mariana García Guerreiro, Sergio Zank, Gaby Gabila and Gerardo Chendo; with two forums at charge of Valeria Lois and Javier Daulte.

Meanwhile, Gerardo Chendo, Ciro Zorzoli, Héctor Díaz, Mosquito Sancineto, Los Pipis and Maite Bello will act as juries for the works and will offer returns to the cast of the Festival, which is not competitive.

The casts that are part of this 13th edition of the Festival are the Grupo Estallados from the town of Alicia, Córdoba, who will present the play “Oniria”; the Desenfoke Group, from the city of Lautaro, Chile with “Nefertaris”; the Malumba Group from the City of Buenos Aires that presents “Romeo and Juliet” and the Lxs de Abajo Group, from Guanajato, Mexico, that brings “Quinces”.

Also appearing are Grupo Que Make Productions, from Canelones, Uruguay with “Necesariamente animal”; Teatrarte Group of the City of Buenos Aires cn “Ojo que estan hay”; Chaco Folio Group with “Hamartia- Hepítome trágica”; Group The wind piles us up: from Río Negro with “The factory of happiness”; Grupo Maria Castaña from the city of Córdoba with “Cheer up to enter” and Grupo Crearte Jr from CABA with “The girl with used books”.
