Michael Ballack commemorates his deceased son Emilio on Instagram, who would have turned 19 last Sunday.
After mother Simone Mecky-Ballack (45), Michael Ballack (44) and the deceased son Emilio also devoted themselves to emotional words. “5:36 p.m. 19 years ago,” the former national soccer player remembers the moment his child was born. In English he continues: “Your absence only makes me love you more.”
Mecky-Ballack had a few hours ahead of Michael Ballack. “My beloved child, today on September 19th you would have been 19 years old”, the 45-year-old begins her moving post, to which she added a photo of Emilio’s 18th birthday. “Who could have guessed that this picture would be your last birthday picture … I miss you every second and I don’t know how it should ever be any different?” Mecky-Ballack struggles “through life, for you and your brothers” every day.
Emilio Ballack was killed in a quad bike accident in Portugal on August 5th. Along with two other sons, he comes from Simone Mecky-Ballack’s first marriage (2008-2012) with ex-national soccer player and Bayern Munich star Michael Ballack.
