Since 2019, we have already saved 2,200 tons of plastic raw material and thus more than 3,000 tons of CO2 with our new recycled packaging. By switching to cardboard packaging, more than 50 tons of plastic waste could be avoided.
With the new cross line laser, we are taking the next step towards sustainable product development: the housing and accessories are made from 90% recycled plastic, the packaging is made from 70% recycled paper, is coated with an environmentally friendly water-based paint and no longer contains any plastic film inside . This saves us 172,000 plastic bags a year. We have also optimized the size of the packaging: as small as possible so that as many devices as possible can be transported at the same time. In addition, thanks to optimized electronics, our new Quigo Green consumes 50 percent less energy than its predecessor – that is 300,000 fewer batteries over the entire life cycle. With just one product, a total of more than 340 tons of CO2 can be saved per year!
Thanks to its simple operating concept, the optimized visibility through green cross laser lines – even in bright light conditions – and a range of up to twelve meters, the new Quigo Green is the right partner for a wide variety of DIY projects. Regardless of whether you are installing shelves, kitchen and bathroom cabinets on one level or positioning patterned wallpaper and curtain rods, thanks to its practical accessories, all of this is child’s play and without frequent realignment.
