“The Rhythm of Life”: Numerous stars in Great Britain advertise vaccinations with a music video.
British stars want to use a musical to advertise vaccination against the corona virus.
In a nearly two-minute video from the British National Health Service (NHS), actors like Jim Broadbent (“Game of Thrones”) and Derek Jacobi as well as the comedian David Walliams are on the song “The Rhythm of Life” from the musical “Sweet Charity” see. Interspersed in the singing and dance performance, in which numerous dancers from London’s West End also participate, are clear appeals. “Just get a vaccination,” says Broadbent, who followed the show half-dancing from the audience. The message: only with vaccinations can the rhythm of life get back on track.
Vaccination readiness is higher than average in the UK compared to other countries. Almost 86 percent of the adult population have already received a first dose of vaccine. However, the skepticism is higher among some minorities than in other parts of the population – to which one tries to react with targeted campaigns.
The commercial was released just in time for the 73rd birthday of the NHS National Health Service. On Saturday, churches, stadiums and many other buildings were also supposed to shine in blue – the color of the NHS – to thank doctors and nurses.
