Supermodel Gisele Bundchen (42) and football star Tom Brady (45) have divorced. Both announced this via Instagram. The decision was made together and amicably after much deliberation, Brady wrote. They will continue to take care of the “beautiful and great” children together.
“The decision to end a marriage is never easy,” Bundchen wrote. “But we’ve grown apart and while it’s difficult to go through something like this, I’m grateful for the time we’ve had and always wish Tom the best.”
Bundchen and Brady had been married since 2009. The couple have two children together, and Brady has a son from a previous relationship. So far, there has only been speculation about the couple’s separation.
