The ex-first lady Hillary Clinton received a very special award: an elite British university awarded her an honorary doctorate.
The former US Secretary of State and ex-first lady Hillary Clinton (73) has received an honorary doctorate from the British elite University of Oxford. The wife of the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton, 75, received the title in civil law on Wednesday evening.
Clinton was “enthusiastic” in a statement,. On the evening of the ceremony several pictures of the award and wrote: “I am delighted to receive an honorary doctorate in civil law at Oxford University on a beautiful day.”
