The 2740th Star Plaque goes to Christina Applegate. The US actress is to be immortalized on November 14th on the tourist strip in Los Angeles.
US actress Christina Applegate is immortalized on Hollywood’s “Walk of Fame” with a star plaque. This was announced by the operators of the tourist mile in Los Angeles on Thursday (local time).
On November 14, the 50-year-old is scheduled to unveil the star – it will be the 2740th plaque on the famous sidewalk. She will be very close to the stars of TV stars Ed O’Neill and Katey Sagal. They played parents Peggy and Al Bundy on the hit sitcom Awful Family, while Applegate turned heads as blonde film daughter Kelly Bundy in the 1990s.
Guest speakers include Katey Sagal (68) and David Faustino (48), who played the younger Bud Bundy. According to the organizers, actress Linda Cardellini (47) is also expected, who can be seen alongside Applegate in the current Netflix series “Dead to Me”. Since 2019, Applegate has been on board as a producer and leading lady in the black humor comedy.
In August 2021, the actress announced to her fans that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). Just last week, she gave another insight into her life with the nervous disease on Twitter. “Cuts are now part of my new normal,” wrote Applegate, mother of an 11-year-old daughter.
