Of the 38 productions selected this year there will be 8 regional and Río Negro works, 9 national and 6 international, while there will be 7 musical groups from the region and the province and 4 national ones. Added to this number are 4 guest works of theater and music.
Casts from Montevideo (Rca Uruguay), Canelones (Rca Uruguay), Santiago (Chile), Valparaíso (Chile), Puerto Montt (Chile), Minas Gerais (Brazil), CABA, Córdoba, Río Cuarto (Córdoba), Pueblo Esther (Santa Fe), Posadas (Misiones), Rosario (Santa Fe), Mendoza, Bariloche (Río Negro), El Bolsón (Río Negro), Lake Puelo (Chubut), Río Grande (Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and Islands of the South Atlantic) and Aluminé (Neuquén). While for music, groups and artists from San Miguel de Tucumán, CABA, Urdampilleta (prov. Buenos Aires), Córdoba, Bariloche (Río Negro), El Bolsón (Rio Negro) and Gral Roca (Río Negro) were invited.
There will also be instances of training and exchange between the artistic group and important people from other national and international festivals, as well as from national organizations in the sector that will present different lines of work and financing.
The event works tirelessly for the cultural integration of Ibero-American countries, with a federal perspective, without abandoning regional identity and participation. It also fights for access to quality artistic expressions that are inspiration for new vocations and for a diverse and inclusive scenario.
The festival, since 2022, is part of the programs of the Secretary of State for Culture of Río Negro.
In this edition, it is developed in co-production with Iberescena, DIRAC of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Chile and has the support of the Municipality of San Carlos de Bariloche, the Ministry of Culture of the Nation and the National Theater Institute. .
