Clear the stage for “Bruckner 200” and young talents

Violist and conductor since 2018 Peter Aigner, Chairman of the Brucknerbund Ansfelden, in his November concert series “Bruckner 200” on the anniversary. After a forced two-year break, the motto “Bruckner and Brahms” is the stage from November 20th to 27th for local greats and young talents.

The latter, winners of the state music competition “Prima la musica”, invite you to the matinee (November 27th, Anton Bruckner Centrum). “We are also planning a New Year’s concert with a young project orchestra on January 1, 2024,” reveals Aigner, who conducts the UpperAustrianSinfonietta youth orchestra.

Jazz brunch to Brahms in a trio

Young people also open “Bruckner 200”: The Upper Austrian vocal ensemble “Capella Originalella” performs a mass (November 20, parish church), followed by the first “Bruckner 200” jazz brunch with pianist Clemens Pechstein and the flutist and singer Lisi Baumgartner (Pfarrhof ). In the ABC, the Spring String Quartet combines its “Best Ingredients” in one fell swoop (November 22nd). “Do you love Brahms?” asked mezzo-soprano Martha Hirschmann, Maria Raberger (piano) and Peter Aigner (viola) on November 23. Clemens Hellsberg, former board member of the Vienna Philharmonic, and Klaus Laczika, artistic director of the Brucknertage St. Florian (November 21), tell interesting facts about Bruckner and Brahms, enriched by the young piano duo Unity (Brianna Nicole Reiter, Kristina Semashko).
