Anyone who took a look at a Prada shop window in the past few weeks was amazed. The dolls wore white cotton tank tops with classic fine rib and a large logo plaque on the chest. Cost point: 690 euros. No misprint.
The undershirt, the epitome of a piece of clothing that is as simple as it is proletarian, is currently very popular. The designers chose the bodice as a luxury shirt. It was also seen at the spring catwalk shows at brands like Bottega Veneta, Chloé, Acne and Sacai. Her shirts were sometimes skin-tight and opaque, sometimes flimsy and transparent. The world of fashion, which otherwise rarely pulls anything off its feet, was enthusiastic and spoke of one of the most important trends for 2022.
