Emotional show appearance in London: After the death of Aaron Carter, his brother Nick Carter is on stage with his band mates from the Backstreet Boys.
The 42-year-old struggles to keep his composure while his musician friend Kevin Richardson shares the grief for the deceased with the audience:

“It’s the last and most important song on our DNA album. Because it’s a song about family.”

As Kevin thanks the crowd for their support over the past 29 years, bandmate AJ McLean walks up to Carter and hugs him.
Brian Litrell follows shortly thereafter.

Kevin further says:

“We wanted to find a moment on the show to commemorate him. Our little brother Aaron Carter passed away yesterday at the age of 34. He is part of our family.”

Howard Dorough adds:

“We dedicate the next song to our brother, Aaron Carter.”

As the band sings “Show me the meaning of being lonely,” Nick Carter pauses and fights back tears. The song is about the loss of a loved one.

Those who attended the concert shared their thoughts and condolences on Twitter.

“I honestly don’t know how Nick Carter got through tonight. The love for him tonight was unreal! London showed its love!”
