Kylie Jenner took center stage on the red carpet at an awards ceremony. She wowed in a glamorous Mugler dress.
Reality TV personality and star influencer Kylie Jenner (25) wowed on the red carpet at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards (CFDA Awards) in New York City on Monday. She presented herself in a floor-length, asymmetrically cut, black one-shoulder dress with a sheer bodice and a high leg slit that emphasized her slim waist.
A dress from 1999
The dress was designed in 1999 by French fashion designer Thierry Mugler (1948-2022), who died earlier this year, as Jenner shared: “Such a beautiful night at the CFDA Fashion Awards at the most beautiful 1999 Thierry Mugler. Thanks to the Mugler team for that “I got to borrow the dress for the night. It was a dream!!!!” she gushed.
The American combined black stiletto pumps with the historic robe. Silver hoop earrings sparkled on the ears. The make-up was kept rather classic with lipstick and eyeshadow in subtle shades of brown. Her hair was pinned up and some strands were styled in wet-look waves on her forehead.
Jenner’s half-sister Kim Kardashian (42) was honored at the event. In addition to the two, Kendall Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Cher, Gigi Hadid, Kerry Washington, Vera Wang, Vanessa Hudgens, Lenny Kravitz and Trevor Noah were also present.
